Role Description
CharCharms is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our global sourcing, production, and logistics operations. As a key player in our rapidly growing brand, you will be responsible for managing relationships with factories, sourcing new products, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of inventory. The ideal candidate has experience in international supply chain management, including sea freight, container shipping, and a strong understanding of freight forwarding.
We’re looking for someone who can not only manage the day-to-day logistics but also develop strategic improvements to streamline our supply chain, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all factory relationships, ensuring smooth communication, quality control, and timely production.
- Source new products and manufacturers to expand CharCharms’ product line while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage the entire supply chain process, ensuring products are manufactured, shipped, and received on time.
- Coordinate container shipments via sea freight, ensuring compliance with all regulations and cost-efficient transportation.
- Work closely with freight forwarders to optimize shipping routes, costs, and timelines.
- Track and manage inventory levels, forecasting demand and preventing stock shortages or overages.
- Develop and maintain processes for better supply chain efficiency, from factory production schedules to final delivery.
- Analyze supply chain data and logistics performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to align inventory with demand and launch schedules.
- Ensure all international shipping documentation and customs compliance requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or logistics (preferably in consumer goods or retail).
- Strong understanding of international shipping, including container shipping and sea freight logistics (must have).
- Experience working with freight forwarders is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost-effective and quality-driven production.
- Strong analytical skills to optimize supply chain performance and manage inventory efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts.
- Detail-oriented and proactive mindset, capable of solving logistical challenges.
- Strong communication skills to manage vendor relationships and internal coordination effectively.
