Role Description
CharCharms is seeking a Product Development & Design Intern who is passionate about creativity, innovation, and bringing new products to life! This role is perfect for someone who loves brainstorming new ideas, researching trends, and working through the entire process of turning a concept into a physical product.
As a Product Development & Design Intern, you’ll work closely with our product and design teams to explore new product ideas, assist with prototyping, and help refine designs to ensure they are ready for production. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development and make a real impact on a fast-growing consumer brand!
Responsibilities:
- Brainstorm and research new product ideas based on market trends and customer needs.
- Assist in designing and developing product concepts from idea to final execution.
- Create mockups, sketches, and digital designs to bring product ideas to life.
- Work with manufacturers to refine prototypes and ensure products meet quality standards.
- Help source materials, colors, and finishes for new products.
- Collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams to align product development with brand strategy.
- Assist in product testing, collecting feedback, and making design improvements.
- Track product timelines to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in industrial design, product development, fashion design, or a related field.
- Passion for design, trends, and creating innovative consumer products.
- Strong creative and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design software is a plus.
- Ability to take a product from concept to reality, thinking through both aesthetics and functionality.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
